Oppression means cruel,unjust treatment that is prolong .The difference between violent and non-violent resistance is that violent is something bad like you use to destroy somebody of fight instead of doing a march of peace.Non-violent is like you make a peace protest by not fighting with someone .Agency means take control over one’s life.  Oppressed people should use non-violent when seeclickfix is only trying to help the community to fix issue and also because to not get people hurt or kill like in the student research they were making a peace protest about the man that was killed and at the end the police got mad and use violent and many people was hurt ,but if non-violent don´t work with the people that oppressed them then they should use violent to be able to have the same power as the other or get more attention.

In addition, oppressed should use non-violent by making the peace protest about the man that was shooting but in this case when the officer hear a lot of noise  they use violent by using tear gas to be able to come down the protest people. The document is a peace protest about the man that was killed by a officer then the people were trying to make justice and so that the officer would not go unpunished about the death of the man.  The document is about the peace protest in ferguson by Richard Rothstein on october 15, 2014. The document i don’t really trusted because there’s no family of the man that talks to make justice of his death. ´´Department of justice concluded Wilson shot Brown in self-Defense.´´ Finally this quote show that they should use violent because at the end of all the peace protest vs violent this make justice and they concluded Officer Wilson to the department of justice.

To continue, oppressed people should use non-violent because the seeclickfix are only helping the area of oakland by fixing issue and  to keep it clean and not having the street bad. The document is about the seeclickfix that they help streets to look good and not having trash and problems with sidewalk,potholes and graffiti.  The seeclickfix most work when the people report issue so that they can come and fixed and it depends if is a big issue. In conclusion, Oppressed people should use non-violent because Malala was only giving a peace speech of the man that had shooting at her  and that she does not keep hatred at him. • What are the different statuses on the posters, and what do each of them mean? In each posters there’s the posters that say’s Open ,acknowledged and closed . Open means when you sand your issue it will be save. Acknowledged means that the seeclickfix already see or read the issue you report and finally the closed means that the seeclickfix will decide if they are going to fixed or they going to lived like it theres.

First i did is going in seeclickfix.com then i sign in my account  after that i  put the number of the issue i report then i check the status to be able to know if it open ,acknowledged or closed. 
• What changes do you notice from the April 13th posters to the April 27th posters? The issue i reported firs it was open issue but then i check now it acknowledged. 
• Do you think there are any types of issues SeeClickFix is better at getting fixed than others?  Why do you think that? I think yes like the potholes or the sidewalk because in the street  maybe the cars can go into the potholes so they will fixed quickly or  if there is a sick person who uses chair wheel maybe she/him can fall there so maybe they would fixed quickly.

This article is about the occupy oakland began as a protest encampment at frank H ogawa plaza on october 10,2011,The reason why the people was doing the protest is because it for the allegations of police misconduct and then there’s was a young man who was fatally shot by the area rapid transit police in 2009 .That people want oakland to be a safe place and that all people can feel protected with out violent .I notice that is interpersonal oppression because of how one person behaves toward another wich means when the people make to much protest the police maybe they get angry and they try to calm down the occupy oakland maybe it is the reason why one of the young man was shooted.This story happens in frank H ogawa plaza and it was happen  on october 10,2011.The article is about a guy that call oscar grant he get a shot it because he had a fight on a crowded Bay Area Rapid Transit train returning from San Francisco, BART Police officers detained Grant and several other passengers on the platform at the Fruitvale BART Station.He didn’t do nothing really bad but the officers shoot at him.This is political system because it bases on the rules and how those decisions are mad so which means the officer thought that oscar was a danger person so maybe that why they shoot at him or maybe they couldn’t do anything to come down the guy so maybe that why they shoot at him.This story happens in oakland california in fruitvale blvd and it was new years.2009 also it was january 1 .

I think seeclickfix helps people in oakland by the resist oppression because sometimes there other people that put trash in the street or they put other thing in the street that it provided  and it not fair that we have to have our community with a lot of trash for a long of time and keep having trash in the street  and the people can not cleaning so only the seeclickfix can clean the area .

I took this picture because i saw that there’s so many trash that are down the tree also  there bottle that is the in the street and it really smells bad and i took this pictures because thereś some of the homeless that lives there and it not fair that they bring many of the trash .I took this picture in march 28 2018 it was in 4501 Bond street oakland ca 94601 down the foothill .

Oppressed people cruel ,or unjust treatment that is prolonged.  Systems of Oppression a system is an organized way of doing cruel or unjust treatment that is prolonged.  Levels of Oppression is Institutional oppression,Internalized oppression and Interpersonal oppression.

To begin with system of oppressed people is that  in this document describes economic system because they  oppressed by the the money they pay to them like in different amount of money and it  depend of their ethnicity or based on the rules they have to pay the people that works.This document is about the people that work either man or woman they pay them in different amount of money however it depend what is their ethnicity..This is a graph from the united states Department of Labor which is a government agency that keeps  track of all the people working in that country then it created in 2009 about the salary workers.A quote from this document is ´´Black or african american woman earn $621 and women earn $582´´.The quote that i reveals it  show Economic system because if the people works avery days they will earn money but at the same time it does not matter if they are man the only thing is that they pay them last money.

People with power able to marginalize and exploit people with different identities that one of the indians died because they did not have a compass or a chart. That means that the spanish ships has more power to kill indians .A quote for that is ¨The trail of the dead indians who had been thrown from the spanish ships¨

What is something that you learned about Christopher Columbus that  you did not know before? 

That i didn’t know about Christopher columbus is that

Identity are the qualities of a person that define who they are.A dominant narrative is a story that people in a position of privilege tell about someone who is not.A counter narrative is a story or perspective that people who are marginalized tell about themselves.I think that it is important to tell a counter narrative about the dominant narratives people say about your identity because then people can hear both sides of the story and/or hear the exaggerated belief and/or lie to the truth and/or reality.

Dominant narrative for me personally is fake is what people think of you ,people who don’t really know you.You just believe it because people with privilege and power are so powerful that other people start to believe it.on picture that i really want to show is “My picture when i was three years old ” I was were my clothes that represent my country ,I show that pictures because i’m proud of were i born ,and it because some of the people mocks how some of the guatemala clothes they wear and they make fun of them,i just want to show and to tell that each people have their own culture and we should respect all of them.

Then a counter narrative is story or respectful that people who are marginalized tell about themselves and also challenge ideas (like stereotypes) that have been presented by the dominant narrative. it has something to do with my personally because some say that men are the only ones who can work hard and women who remain to stay home like take care for the house and it because they say that women do not have much strength and can not get to work as men.But i say that it does not matter what they say because i know that women can also work like i sometimes i go with my dad to help him do something of his work. Then i just want to show a picture where he designs that we can all work .Finally does not matter what is your gender.

Finally ,Identity is the qualities of a person that define who they are.One of my identities is the church that is in guatemala because it has something to do with my personally and it because they baptized me when i born.Then i want to show them that there are many different of church that has different religion and many people says that the religion ‘Catholic”is not the best religion so because according to sometimes people get into vice and do many things bad but I just want to show the church of my religion in guatemala that does not matter in what religion they go too.Finally people are the ones who decide to be in the bad steps and I just want that they do not judge the Catholic church because with all respect we have to respect the religion of others and not criticized one.
